    Named after the Min River in China’s Sichuan province, Min Jiang serves a repertoire of Sichuan and Cantonese dishes, as well as dim sum on trolleys at lunchtime.

    Not to be missed on the extensive menu are broths such as the double-boiled minced pork balls with crabmeat and Tientsin cabbage soup, and the classic Sichuan hot and sour soup. Both are richly flavoured and a comforting start to the meal. Among the selection of classic dishes are some modern inclusions along the likes of chilled beancurd with sakura ebi and century egg paired with sake-infused crabmeat.

    The dining room is as expansive as the menu, spread over a long wood-panelled corridor and attended to by elegant, professional service staff who make excellent recommendations.
