Situated along the Clarke Quay waterfront, Quayside Seafood offers a fine selection of local seafood favourites, from grilled sambal stingray to live Sri Lankan crabs in black pepper sauce and chilli sauce. Start the meal with moreish appetisers such as wok-fried squid with salt and black pepper, spiced with fragrant curry leaves. But without a doubt, the main draw here is the chilli crab—fresh hefty Sri Lankan crabs served in a sweet and tangy chilli sauce. Order some steamed or fried buns to sop up all that tangy goodness. The Indonesian-style beef is also a sound choice—slices of beef are cooked in an aromatic broth and pair wonderfully withsteamed rice.
