Much like the London original, Bread Street Kitchen by chef Gordon Ramsay at Marina Bay Sands models the same chic industrial designs on a black and white checkered floor. The food here is a mix of traditional and modern British fare, with chef Ramsay’s motto in place—simple dishes done well, using top-notch local produce. Some of the dishes also draw on influences from around the world especially Asia, such as seared salmon starter with soy dressing, nori crisps and mango.
For a fuss-free, reliable staple, order the fish and chips with fresh fish fillet enveloped in a light crisp beer batter and accompanied with crushed sweet peas and tartar sauce. The restaurant offers a good-value set lunch menu with the option of two or three courses. The spot sits by the waterfront, complete with an al fresco bar that comes well-stocked with wines, spirits and myriad cocktails.
