Located at Ramada Singapore, Flavours offers a buffet spread of Singapore’s hawker favourites and fresh seafood. The main draw is the fresh seafood station, heaving with platters of raw mud crabs, prawns, snappers, clams and squids. Take your pick, decide on the sauce you want your seafood cooked in (choices include black pepper, salted egg yolk, assam curry, and ginger and onion) and send them all to be tossed in a hot wok. There is also a cold seafood section offering oysters, mussels and prawns, as well as a Japanese counter serving salmon sashimi and sushi. Iconic hawker must-tries include the fried oyster omelette, chicken satay, and charred seafood kway teow. Spicy offerings include sayur lodeh, vegetables braised in a spiced coconut milk gravy; fork-tender mutton rending; and the ever popular laksa in a lush coconut broth. For dessert, there is fresh durian pengat, an assortment of Nonya kueh, and soft-serve ice cream.
