2018 Review
High ceilings, thick carpeted floors and plush armchairs you can sink into and never get up. Brasserie Les Saveurs serves up a swish experience we can’t get enough of. The boon? There’s plenty choice pickings on the menu too.
For a modest introduction to the offerings here, order theConnoisseur dinner, and take your pick from a lavish buffet spread of hor d’ouevres, a continental cheese selection and a generous range of desserts, along with your choice of dish from a rotating list of the restaurant’s popular main courses.
Alternatively start with a rich lobster bisque topped with fresh crab and dill, then follow up with duck rillettes served with caramelised apples and foie gras, or juicy herb-crusted frog legs. For mains, try signatures such as roasted pigeon with salt-baked onion, whole Dover sole meunière or grass-fed Angus beef ribs from the carving trolley.
Should you be able to tear yourself away from the temptations of the cheese menu, then train your attention on the lemongrass and ginger crème caramel, which will provide an uplifting end to your meal.
